We at CAMB AI are excited to share our newest success story: a case study with Amazon Web Services (AWS) that boosted our translation technology to new levels of performance.

Partnering with AWS gave us the high-octane computing power needed for advanced AI model training, bringing us closer to our dream of becoming the first homegrown unicorn startup from Dubai.

THE CHALLENGE

We set out to create a groundbreaking translation model that could convert audio and video into more than 140 languages without losing core emotions, tone, or voice quality.

Achieving that scale required a cloud provider able to handle massive GPU demands. Some providers weren’t ready to support our goals, so we naturally turned to AWS.

“Our team faced big hurdles with other providers,” recalls our Chief Technology Officer, Akshat Prakash. “Scaling AI models can be daunting, but AWS believed in our vision and delivered the infrastructure we needed.”

THE SOLUTION

We deployed Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) P5 Instances to handle the heavy processing required for our MARS5 speech engine.

MARS5 stands out as the first open-source voice model in the research world to handle prosody tough enough for sports commentary, reflecting our drive to push AI frontiers.

Storing data in Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) cut training times by up to 75%. Key features include near real-time dubbing and localization, which matter to customers creating global media or hosting large events.

Prakash offers more insight: “Access to such powerful GPUs and a robust storage setup allowed us to experiment, refine, and release improvements much faster than before. Our AI speech synthesis gained clarity, and our clients instantly saw better results.”

THE IMPACT

Our partners now enjoy real-time speech translation at scale and unlock new ways to connect with international audiences. Many have reported greater cost efficiency by avoiding expensive in-house hardware.

Early data shows project times dropping by about 50%, letting clients reach viewers across multiple languages with fewer obstacles.

OUR VISION AND MISSION

We believe technology brings people from different backgrounds closer together. Our mission centers on delivering user-friendly solutions that remove language barriers.

Ongoing research in AI model training helps us broaden our influence and sustain our role as a forward-thinking translation company.

A COLLABORATIVE JOURNEY

We are part of the AWS Generative AI Accelerator Program, a 10-week global initiative supporting startups like ours as we push the limits of AI speech synthesis and translation.

This program provides further resources and connections, fueling our push into more industries and worldwide customer sets.

Prakash reflects on our AWS cooperation: “Working with AWS has shown us the potential we can reach with the right support, and it inspires us to aim higher. Seeing MARS5 evolve so quickly reminds us we’re only starting to tap into what’s possible.”

ABOUT CAMB AI

We focus on translation technology that helps people engage across language barriers. Our advanced AI models simplify audio and video content creation, handling linguistic nuances for smoother global experiences. By optimizing large-scale AI model training on the cloud, we remain a key translation company ready to serve worldwide audiences—and we look forward to scaling even further on our path to becoming a unicorn startup.
