Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically savvy Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, combining strong communication skills with a foundational understanding of video streaming technologies. You will work closely with the presales and marketing teams to identify qualified leads, engage prospects, and support the sales process from initial outreach through qualification.

Lead Generation & Qualification
- Research and identify potential customers
- Conduct outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and social channels to generate new business opportunities.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads by understanding their business needs, technical requirements, and pain points.
- Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations with sales engineers and account executives.
Sales Enablement
- Collaborate with presales and marketing teams to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads and accurate communication of customer needs.
- Keep CRM and sales tracking tools up to date with lead information, activities, and feedback.
- Stay informed about product updates, new features, and industry trends to better engage prospects.
Customer Engagement
- Deliver introductory presentations to prospective customers and answer basic technical questions.
- Participate in technical workshops and discovery sessions alongside sales engineers as required.
- Assist in customizing proposals and offers based on initial customer requirements.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a sales development or technical sales support role, preferably in selling software, media, sports or entertainment industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting international clients and adapting communication style accordingly.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, API integration, or video encoding/transcoding is a plus.
