
CAMB.AI is seeking a Forward-Deployed Broadcast/Streaming Engineer (Support) to work closely with our clients on configuring and optimizing live-streaming workflows. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with encoders, streaming protocols (SRT, HLS, RTMP), and cloud streaming services. You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor, helping clients set up proof-of-concepts (POCs), onboard onto our platform, and troubleshoot live events in real time.
This position involves travel (both virtual and occasional on-site) and flexible hours, as live broadcasts often occur during evenings or weekends. It’s a client-facing role that requires strong collaboration, communication, and technical expertise.

Client Onboarding & POCs
● Set up and configure proof-of-concept livestreams for new and existing clients.
● Guide clients through system requirements, encoder configurations, and network setups.
● Provide best practices and training to ensure effective platform use.
Live Event Support
● Monitor live streams for major sports broadcasts to ensure stable, high-quality video delivery.
● Quickly troubleshoot and resolve streaming issues during live events.
● Adjust workflows to accommodate real-time client changes.
Technical Consultation
● Serve as a subject matter expert on streaming protocols (SRT, HLS, RTMP, MPEG-DASH).
● Advise clients on encoder selection, network optimization, and low-latency solutions.
● Collaborate with client teams to design tailored workflows.
Platform Integration & Automation
● Work with internal engineering teams to integrate client requirements into CAMB.AI’s AI-driven platform.
● Automate streaming processes like autoscaling, failover configurations, and deployment.
● Improve internal tools for client onboarding and stream management.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
● Maintain detailed documentation of client setups, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
● Contribute to internal knowledge bases to ensure consistent support.
● Provide post-event analysis and workflow recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Coordinate with the AI and product teams to enhance live stream features.
● Provide feedback on product improvements and potential offerings based on client needs.
● 3+ years of experience in live streaming, broadcast engineering, or a related field.
● Proven ability to deploy, test, and support streaming solutions in a client-facing capacity.
● Strong understanding of streaming protocols (SRT, HLS, RTMP) and experience with encoders.
● Ability to diagnose and resolve network and encoding issues under time pressure.
● Flexibility to work non-standard hours and weekends for live sports broadcasts.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud media services (e.g., AWS MediaLive, MediaConnect).
● Knowledge of DevOps tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform) for media workflows.
● Background in sports production or live event workflows.
● Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
● Successful track record leading POCs and pilot projects.
