Role Overview:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for our AI solutions within sports leagues, clubs, independent studios, content providers and traditional dubbing studios. This role requires a deep understanding of the sports/media industry, a strong network of connections, and a passion for leveraging technology to transform the way sports/media organizations operate.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Design and implement a sales strategy targeting sports leagues, media companies, broadcasters, and content creators in Los Angeles.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both the sports and media sectors. Drive growth by showcasing the value of CAMB.AI’s AI localization solutions to potential clients.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within sports leagues, media companies, broadcasting organizations, and content platforms.
- Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of CAMB.AI’s AI-driven localization platform and effectively communicate its benefits and value proposition to sports and media clients.
- Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed sales targets by closing high-value deals, contributing to CAMB.AI’s growth in the sports and media sectors.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive activities, and market demands in both sports and media. Provide insights to the product and marketing teams to ensure CAMB.AI’s offerings remain competitive and innovative.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure a seamless client experience and alignment between product offerings and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8-10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in the sports or media industries. Proven success in selling technology or software solutions to sports leagues, media companies, or broadcasters.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of both the sports and media landscapes, including broadcasting, fan engagement, content distribution, and monetization strategies.
- Network: Established relationships within sports leagues, media companies, broadcasters, and content creators, especially in the Los Angeles area. Ability to leverage these connections for business development.
- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value deals, with a results-driven mindset and strong negotiation skills.
- Leadership: Ability to work independently and drive results while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet company goals.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent experience in the sports or media industries is preferred.
